Things like this have always creeped me out, ever since I was a kid! You made this piece really creepy, but without overdoing it. I love the simplicity of it, and the details that you can see if you really look closely! I'm imagining waking up in the middle of the night and seeing this in my room...I'd probably lose my shit! Or just die of fright, or something...Something about disembodied facial features just freaks me out really bad! Especially mouths and eyes... Really well done! Your work is always awesome, but this one definitely has to be one of my favorites!!
The human mind is often plagued by superstitions and fears of the dark, and I think this piece here puts those thoughts into shape. I find this picture thought provoking, spine-chilling, and very well executed. It makes me sit here and wonder, "What is that?" -- "Is that a woman, a man?" -- "Does it like to eat bones and hair?" and all while I refrain from peeing my pants. I must say, I think this picture is amazingly terrifying. It is what horror should be--not bloody and gore with chunks of flesh here and there, or blood streaming from it's mouth, but chilling and haunting. This is something I can easily see in the shadows of an old horror classic, something that the camera only pans across, and leaves the viewer stumbling in horror, trying to recall what that was in the shadows! I must say, I really, really like this, and I think you've earned a watch from me.
In total, lets mark it up: the piece is not too gaudy, but has just enough to keep one focused and attentive. Even with it's simplicity, it is incredibly detailed (especially in the teeth, and the tufts of hair). It is, as I've said numerous times, thought provoking, and ultimately, terrifying! I don't want to leave my closet open at night because of this, or my curtains!
