Self-portrait

The first thing I noticed in this artwork is how deep the eyes are which really brings attention to the eyes. Eyes are an important part of a portraits. The ones you drew seem to go directly into the soul of the watcher and also seem to portray some insanety/sadness. The left one seems sad and the right one crazy. Is there a reasons to make them with different expressions?

When I zoom in into the picture it is very clearly visible the lines you used to draw. I love the way you made the skin. It fits well with the overal haunting atmosphere of the picture.

I am always a fan of pictures with a very clear atmosphere so I certainly like this one. I am curious what the story behind the self-portrait is.

As tip I would say that the neck is not visible enough. Now it looks like a head floating in space.

Finally I want to say that I would be very curious to see an actual picture of you. Very curious to which extend the self-portrait is an actual copy of how you look. But I am not forcing you into anything. Not seeing an actual picture also adds to the mystery of the picture.
