"The noise in the hallway" is a very creepy and sensitive picture. The smile will horrify little kids. I really lie the traditional demonic red eyes that capture it's face giving it a monstrous persona. The shadows and it's silhouette give this piece an eerie, scary feel. The technique for the stiches is very impressive but so common in these kinds of pictures. The whiteness in the teeth makes your eyes drift towards that. Then to the red. Great job on the background details! Some may not think this. But sometimes the background is the most important details for a picture. Keep this up and you'll truly terrify grown men if you wanted to!
bien bien.....
well well ..... It seems that the painting was found out of a picture taken in the dark, which is very original, but that kind of smiles and faces in the night and have been seen many times, so see something like this just once does not cause an impact very original. What is very obvious is that the resulting visual effect is very impressive, so too as the art. Total say it's a strong impact followed by a good technique that causes a great vision, but the heavy use of the network faces cause such a negative popularity, what I'm concerned.
Opinion: this great, seems a shoe-face just raping children in a hospital, this happy!
Ikr? Too bad they re-illustrated. The pictures were the best part! The stories were okay, but those pictures! Those horrifying pictures that would watch you while you sleep for weeks! Apperantly, the pictures to go in the SCARY book full of SCARY stories meant to SCARE you, were just too scary.
The picture is simple, yet detailed, almost resembling a cut and paste "collage" type genre, which is common (esp. of late) but can be used EXTREMELY effectively so long as it is portrayed in the correct manner. While the background is a little to bland (would have opted for a more idealistic/familiar/safe) the foreground is vivid and organic, making for a feel of something that someone would actually dream about, have a nightmare about and be haunted by. The apparition is not showing any aggression, yet its presence in the room suggests malice none the less. The figure is cold even though it features a warm palette. All of these contradictions within the basic composition itself make this vision all the more real and terrific: I keep running but no matter how fast I go its always just behind me! Its right outside the door, or tucked in the shadow, barely out of sight. Done 100% "perfect" no, not at all. Scary? Horrific? Effective??? Oh yes, that it is.
