This visual in itself is great, and it gives a good feel to the picture. It's black and white color scheme also gives it a chilling look. The amount of detail in the face and it's covering bandages is great, and the overall look is perfect.
For originality, I'd say it isn't as new, but still can be considered original. A black face with the only visible features being the eyes and mouth is partially cliche for horror, but isn't something you'd see in everything related to horror. The most cliche horror theme would be a demon possesed character in my opinion, which is why the originality rating is still pretty high.
The technique goes from the color to the overall look, which is perfect. It looks very realistic and the blood on the chest in the first panel adds to the realism. In my opinion, there is nothing wrong.
As for the impact, it is quite spine chilling, but not enough to create a large reaction. Referring back to originality, this can normally be found in horror, but not as often, so anyone who is only used to the 'possesion' kind of horror would be pretty shocked by a picture such as this. But for someone who's seen this horror style before wouldn't be as suprised.
